Junior Accountant
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Log daily financial transactions, journal entries, and bookkeeping records.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balances, issuing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Perform routine bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and assist with monthly financial closing tasks.
• Support VAT-related accounting tasks and coordinate with internal departments regarding incoming and outgoing payments.
Requirements:
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; 1 to 2 years of practical accounting experience (UAE market experience preferred).
• Technical Skills: Experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books, along with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Key Competencies: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, familiarity with UAE VAT practices, high numerical precision, and strong organizational skills.
