Key Responsibilities - Architect autonomous systems and optimize algorithms for perception, path/motion planning, sensor fusion, and localization. Integrate payloads, sensors (LiDAR, Radar, Cameras), and communication protocols onto autonomous platforms. Conduct simulated (Gazebo, Unreal/Unity) and field testing for hardware and software prototypes. Design CAD components (mounts, small mechanical parts) and calibrate actuators/sensors. Manage project deliverables, documentation, and cross-functional team integration.
Key Requirements - Experience: 3–5+ years in robotics, specifically with autonomous ground or marine platforms (UGVs/USVs). Software: Proficiency in C++, Python, ROS, and simulation tools (Gazebo, Unreal Engine, or Unity). Technical Domain: Background in state estimation, localization, motion planning, and protocol integration (CAN/NMEA2000, TCP/IP).
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred) - Soft Skills: Excellent English communication, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively - Preferred Skills PCB design, embedded systems, CAD modeling, and rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC). Windows or web application development.
