Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise electrical MEP engineering and site execution activities for fit-out and building projects.
• Oversee electrical installations including LV systems, power distribution, lighting, containment, earthing, and related electrical works.
• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor electrical works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and UAE requirements.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other MEP disciplines to identify and resolve technical and interface issues.
• Review and respond to RFIs, technical queries, inspection requests, and other project documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure electrical works are executed according to approved quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, snagging, and project handover activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are completed within the required quality and schedule parameters.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience.
• Mandatory UAE fit-out project experience.
• Strong experience in electrical MEP works for fit-out/ Commercial , Retails projects. NOT REQUIRED RESIDENTIAL Projects
• Strong hands-on knowledge of LV systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing, containment, and related electrical works.
• Experience working with an MEP contractor / fit-out company is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation and site execution.
• Experience with electrical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, inspections, and technical submissions.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other MEP disciplines.
• Exposure to testing, commissioning, inspections, snagging, and project handover.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software. Preferred
• Strong technical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
