Safety Inspector
◾ Diploma degree in an appropriate discipline.
◾ 3 to 5 years of practical experience in the field of security and safety.
◾ Previous experience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
◾ Good knowledge of safety procedures and requirements in work sites and projects.
◾ Ability to carry out daily inspection tours and identify hazards and unsafe practices.
◾ Knowledge of PPE requirements, PTW work permits, high-altitude work, excavation and lifting work.
◾ Ability to follow up on contractors and workers and ensure that safety instructions and procedures are applied.
◾ Ability to document observations, prepare inspection reports, accidents, and violations, and follow up on their closure.
◾ Certificates or courses in occupational safety and health are a plus.
◾ Good skills in communication, follow-up, and fieldwork.
◾ Proficiency in spoken and written English.
