Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Purchase Supervisor to oversee purchasing activities, supplier coordination, procurement processes, and inventory requirements, ensuring timely availability of automotive parts and materials.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily purchasing and procurement activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suitable suppliers.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Coordinate orders, availability, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Raise and monitor purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of required parts and materials.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate requirements with relevant departments.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and source alternatives when required.
- Compare prices, quality, availability, and delivery timelines.
- Verify purchase documentation and invoices.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve purchasing-related issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
- Support cost-control and purchasing optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate with management and internal departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.
### Requirements
- Proven experience in purchase/procurement supervision.
- Automotive/spare parts industry experience preferred.
- Strong supplier negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Good knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory requirements.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good computer and MS Office skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and purchase requirements efficiently.
- UAE experience will be an advantage.
