To oversee, guide, and lead a dedicated team of facade and structural design engineers and BIM modelers. You will turn complex architectural concepts into practical, high-quality fabrication and engineering solutions while maintaining tight technical standards, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and allocate daily tasks to a team of design engineers, drafting professionals, and BIM modelers.
• Technical Oversight: Lead and review design development, structural calculations, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for facade, glazing, and architectural aluminum systems.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and procurement teams to align technical specifications and handle design revisions.
• Quality & Compliance: Establish and maintain design review, QA/QC, and document control processes in accordance with UAE building codes and regulatory standards.
• Software Mastery: Direct technical layouts using specialized industry design tools, AutoCAD, LogiKal, and Revit/BIM environments.
Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 10–12+ years of progressive design experience, with a solid track record in a leadership or senior design management capacity within the UAE/GCC region.
• Industry Focus: Strong background specifically in facade engineering, aluminum glazing, steel structures, or commercial metal fabrication.
• Skills: Excellent communication, cross-functional coordination, problem-solving capabilities, and commercial acumen.
