Job Summary
We are hiring 6 Pipe Fitters for our client in the marine industry in Dubai, UAE. Candidates should have experience in piping fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair onboard ships. The ideal candidates must be able to read piping drawings and follow technical specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform piping fabrication, pre-fabrication, installation, and pressure testing.
Install pipe spools, supports, and piping systems onboard ships.
Maintain and repair ship piping systems according to technical drawings and safety standards.
Read and interpret piping drawings and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot piping systems under the supervision of a foreman.
Ensure proper alignment and fitting of pipes, valves, and flanges.
Follow safety procedures and meet project deadlines.
Work in confined spaces and onboard ships as required.
Coordinate with supervisors, welders, and other team members to complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Pipe Fitter in the marine industry is preferred.
Knowledge of pipe fabrication, installation, alignment, and pressure testing.
Ability to read and understand piping drawings and technical specifications.
Familiarity with pipes, fittings, valves, flanges, and pipe supports.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Ability to work onboard ships and in confined spaces.
Physically fit and willing to work according to project requirements.
