Interior Fit-Out Draftsman
Job Location : UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Prepare detailed interior fit-out shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings for walls, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and other interior finishing works.
• Prepare joinery and custom furniture drawings, including wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, reception counters, and other bespoke elements.
• Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
• Incorporate consultant comments, client revisions, and site measurements into drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, approved materials, and relevant dimensions.
• Assist the site team with technical details and drawing clarifications during project execution.
• Maintain proper drawing records and revision control.
• Prepare drawings within project deadlines and coordinate submissions for consultant or client approval.
Requirements :
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Draftsman in interior fit-out or interior design projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is essential.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out construction details, materials, and finishing methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, interior design layouts, and technical specifications.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, joinery details, reflected ceiling plans, and as-built drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Previous experience in UAE interior fit-out projects is an advantage.
