Al Andalus Trading Establishment is seeking interested candidates to join our team.
📋 JOB SUMMARY:
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement process by coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This role ensures compliance with procurement policies, helps manage inventory levels, and contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
🔑 KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create, process, and track purchase orders from initiation to delivery in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm orders, lead times, and product/service details.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from multiple suppliers to ensure best value.
• Coordinate with warehouse or inventory teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Assist in forecasting material needs to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Monitor the status of orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain critical records for audits, reporting, and operating purposes.
• Streamline payment systems and databases with accurate supplier and order information.
📋 REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Procurement, Logistics, or Business Administration may be considered based on relevant experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the same or related field.
• Technical experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
