WE ARE HIRING!

Project: Major Railway Project
Location: Hail, Saudi Arabia

The Contracts & Claims Manager safeguards the company's financial, commercial, and legal interests across large-scale infrastructure, civil engineering, and turnkey government projects. This role drives the entire contract lifecycle management (CLM) workflow, mitigates execution risks, and leads the forensic identification, preparation, defense, and negotiation of high-value construction claims.

Key Responsibilities
• Contract Administration & Review: Oversee the complete lifecycle of prime contracts, subcontracts, and joint-venture agreements, issuing clear risk-mitigation recommendations before sign-off.
• Claims Management & Defense: Formally identify, structure, and quantify Extension of Time (EOT), variation orders, delay disruptions, and additional cost claims while protecting the company from Liquidated Damages (LDs).
• Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure strict compliance with contract terms, Saudi Arabian procurement laws, and industry regulatory frameworks.
• Subcontractor Control: Draft and manage back-to-back subcontracts, ensuring client-side risks, warranties, and bonds flow seamlessly down to suppliers.
• Dispute Resolution & Correspondence: Manage formal project notifications, draft highly technical contractual correspondence, and spearhead dispute settlement strategies.

Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a highly related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 to 12 years of professional experience in heavy infrastructure contracting, with at least 5+ years dedicated strictly to contracts and claims management.
• Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of the Saudi Government Procurement Law and FIDIC contract suites.
• Language Skills: Full business fluency in written and spoken English; professional proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
