School Nurse
Job Location : UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide appropriate first aid and basic nursing care to students and staff.
• Assess minor illnesses and injuries and determine when further medical attention is required.
• Maintain accurate health records and document medical incidents.
• Administer medication only in accordance with authorised procedures and school policies.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and coordinate referrals when necessary.
• Promote hygiene, health awareness and preventive healthcare practices.
• Communicate with parents and school management regarding health concerns, while protecting confidentiality.
Qualifications:
• A recognised nursing qualification, such as a nursing diploma or bachelor’s degree, as required by the relevant UAE licensing authority.
• A valid professional nursing licence or registration applicable to the UAE role.
• Knowledge of first aid, emergency response and basic healthcare procedures.
• Good communication, observation and record-keeping skills.
Experience:
• Candidates with relevant school nursing experience will be preferred.
• Previous experience supporting children in a school or paediatric healthcare setting will be an advantage.
