Junior Internal Auditor
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Core Competencies:
• Execute operational, financial, and compliance internal audit procedures under senior guidance.
• Assess internal control frameworks, identify potential process risks, and recommend corrective controls.
• Analyze financial data, trace ledger transactions, and verify supporting documentation.
• Prepare comprehensive audit working papers, executive summaries, and formal audit reports.
• Review accounting records for compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and federal corporate tax laws.
Skills & Experience Required:
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; progress toward professional certifications (ACCA, CA, CMA, or CIA) is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of practical experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or general corporate accounting.
• Technical Proficiencies: Advanced Microsoft Excel analytics, risk evaluation frameworks, internal control methodologies, and proficiency in ERP or accounting platforms (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, Xero, or SAP).
