1. Position Title: Sr. Accountant -General Accountant
2. Number of Staff Required: 1
3. Job Description: Responsible for day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank and supplier/customer reconciliations, VAT accounting, invoicing, payment follow-up, expense monitoring, month-end closing, financial reporting, audit support, and maintaining proper accounting records and supporting documents.
4. Work Location: Business Bay, Dubai, UAE
5. Employment Duration: 6 Years+, subject to performance and renewal
6. Working Hours: 9 hours per day, including break
7. Shift Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
8. Working Days per Week: 5 Days
9. Weekly Off(s): 2 Days
10. Salary: Staring AED 7,000 per month (we can discuss if a very experienced candidate comes)
11. Additional Benefits: Visa, medical insurance, annual leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law/company policy
12. Experience Required: Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience in UAE,
13. Preferred Industry Experience: Preferably from Trading of Minerals, Chemicals, Building Materials, or similar trading businesses
14. Driving License: Not mandatory
15. Other Specific Requirements: Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, supplier/customer SOA reconciliation, month-end closing and financial reporting. Advanced Excel skills are required. Candidate should have experience with accounting software and be able to independently manage day-to-day accounts. Good English communication and documentation skills are required.
16. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or equivalent. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA/CMA/CA Inter would be an advantage.
