Post Tender Work:
• Studying all Tender documents &including Contract conditions, BOQ, Specifications & Tender Drawings before pricing.
• Visit site of the project with sales engineer and prepare site visit report’s
• Attending of pre-bid meeting with client/consultants.
• Giving Instruction to Q.S. to take the Quantity from the Tender Drawings
• Reviewing the Quantity taken from Q.S.
• Giving Instruction to Procurement Engineers to Sending the Enquiries to subcontractor for the Quotation.
• Handling Pre-Tender Correspondences with Clients, Consultants & raising Tender Queries to avoid any discrepancies
• Studying Quotations, arranging comparative statements & negotiate to obtain competitive rates & technically adjuvating different quotations.
• Pricing the Direct works (Concrete, Form works & Reinforcement) using CCS (Construction Computer Software) with necessary Rate analysis by first Principles.
• Prepare Tender entry sheet indicating the scope of works and other requirement for technical and commercial submission.
• Reviewing the pricing done by the estimator.
• Prepare the final cost calculation sheet and forward to Tendering Manager/Project Director for final pricing approval on time.
• Prepare the final proposal; Form of tender and other tender documents before the dead line.
Post Tender Work:
• Attend clarifications post tender meeting along marketing engineer with client.
• Work out price for modifications as required by clients/consultants during negotiation in post tender meetings.
• Upon award of project, make contract entry form and prepare kick off meeting details including scope of works, major items of works, subcontract works, commercial terms and hand over to operations and project services department.
• Prepare budget for the whole project by remodeling in the CCS software after award of the project.
• Prepare the variation of the project before award of project.
• Prepare analysis report of lost tender.
