The project was aimed to build a ship repair yard and dry dock facilities at overall size of about 1,000,000 Sq. Mt. in Duqm port.
The site was located approximately 550 km from Muscat in Duqm of Al Wusta region on South East coast of Oman. The work was
executed as consortium between Daewoo Engineering & Construction Ltd. (Daewoo E&C) of South Korea and Galfar. Major work
involved 2 dry docks & marine structures (M/s Daewoo E&C) and 5 office buildings, 10 warehouses, 4 restaurant buildings, 10
structural steel workshop buildings, 8 substation buildings, 12 dormitory buildings, sewage treatment plant & network services.
