Consultant in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, mainly Single-Incision VATS (SI-VATS) and Non-intubated SI-VATS procedures under spontaneous breathing.
I perform surgery through “single-incision VATS”, with a 4 cm incision, assisted by a videocamera and specific surgical devices.
With this single-incision approach, I perform safely any procedure inside the thorax, decreasing significantly postoperative pain, facilitating patient mobilization within 24 hours after the surgery and with patient early discharge from Hospital.
I expect the minimal surgical aggression so the patient can recover his normal daily life as soon as possible, decreasing discomfort secondary to a major surgical procedure, with excellent aesthetic outcomes.
