My name is Christina MORTADA. I am an agricultural engineer specialized in plant pathology and plant protection. I had a Master degree in Agricultural engineering in 2007 from Lebanese University, Faculty of Agriculture, and a Master of Science in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) of Mediterranean Fruit Tree Crops from The Int. Centre for advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies of Bari (MAIB), Italy.
I was holding a position as a Responsible of the laboratory of molecular biology on viruses, Viroides and Phytoplasmas at Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (IRAL) Talamara, Rayak, Bekaa, Lebanon.
I worked for 2 years in Italy at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari and I have gained a lot of information and expertise in the domain of plant Pathology particularly in plant Virology; regarding the detection and characterization by applying molecular, serological and biological laboratory techniques
I have 6 years of experience in the domain of plant pathology especially plant virology (trees viruses), and in the molecular, serological and biological laboratory techniques on plants viruses.
