Project Overview : This project includes complete HIS suite ( Administration, Clinical, Finance, Material
Management, Fixed Assets and Maintenance modules ) integrated with PACS - Picture Archival and
Communication System. Core Clinical module is developed as a web application which is integrated with HIS and
EMR along with Business Intelligence (BI) tool.

Project Description: RCare Magnum is a comprehensive Healthcare Information System dedicated to manage
the automation needs of every segment of the healthcare environment. RCare Magnum takes care of BO and FO
needs of a HIS. Since there is communication between DotNet and Java, a third party tool (Janet) was used to
create proxy objects. RCARE MAGNUM is capable of retrieving and disseminating patient-specific clinical and
financial data across the entire healthcare enterprise.
The mission of RCare Magnum is to construct a framework for the open information and communication systems
for healthcare. RCare Magnum is a completely integrated Hospital Management System (HIS) for small and
medium range hospitals (3-tier version for single and networked hospitals, Client Server version for single
hospitals). It is a patient-centric solution, capable of coordinating the delivery of multiple healthcare services. It
helps achieve revenue enhancement, cost containment and excellent patient care, assisting healthcare
institutions to rapidly move their enterprise towards a niche patient care environment - all without compromising
on International Standards. It includes 27 modules, which covers all the micro & major requirements for HIS.
RCare can be customized for different clients as all the Modules can be plugged in & out according to the clients
requirements.
Report Designer and View Definition Tool: These are the tools provided in the product for the creation of
custom, MIS and Tabular Reports of all modules as per client requirement.
