• Co - investigator: 1. In a clinical trial sponsored by LG Life sciences study title : Polymyxin B – Immobilized fiber hemopersfusion in the treatment of sepsis. It is a clinical randomized trial, in which we are using very innovative sepsis marker “ Endotoxin levels “ marker of gram negative septicemia by chemi-luminance assay methods, which is only performed at our centre in whole India. We use Polymyxin columns in severe sepsis patients for 2 hours, this extracts the endotoxins from blood and we break the cascade of sepsis.
• A Prospective, Non-Randomized Feasibility Study of the Hemolung™ Respiratory Assist System in COPD Patients with Acute Respiratory Failure that are at a 50% Risk of Failing Non Invasive Ventilation (NIV). Principle objective to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Hemolung: Extracorporeal method of CO2 extraction: Respiratory Assist Device in patients with hypercapnic respiratory failure associated with acute exacerbation of COPD and a 50% likelihood of failure of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation leading to intubation and mechanical ventilation. We were a part of this innovative pilot study of respiratory dialysis. One centre out of 4 centres around world.
• Tocilizumab plus standard care versus standard care in patients in India with moderate to severe COVID-19-associated cytokine release syndrome (COVINTOC): an open-label, multicentre, randomised, controlled, phase 3 trial
• Effectiveness of screening protocols and triaging on prevalence of COVID infection among HCW in a mixed COVID hospital
