• Project Design: Responsible for receiving and capturing all relevant information regarding design, drawings and engineering, creating project planning and detailed program for execution of the project. To ensure that all specifications, and authority regulations as shown on drawings or based on experience or indicated to in technical submittals are followed on site.
• Resources Allocation Plan: To prepare all needed resources allocation plans and to follow with related departments for supplying needed resources on time. Any difficulty to be reported to Operations Manager on time. Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
• Work Quality: Ensure quality of materials and installation of work is in accordance with the project contract/specifications and take corrective actions if necessary, to ensure the agreed upon quality of the project. Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Contract Administration: Responsible for the preparation of Bid Summaries, recommend the award of sub-contract work, follow up on the purchase selection for the procurement of material and attend meetings with consultants, clients and sub-contractors. Follow up and ensure all claims / variations are properly administered and closed. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors,
• Team Management: Ensure suitable qualified personnel is mobilized, review manpower requirements for the project, staff training and appraisal.
• Time Management: Responsible for executing the project on time, progress and take corrective actions if necessary, to ensure timely delivery of the project. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specification and budget. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules.
• Tracking: To track all related B/s, BDQ, LPO, PDC, L/C, BG, etc. To report any difficulty to Operations Manager on time. Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
• Cost Control: Deliver projects within the budget and ensure risks of non-budgeted costs are timely raised with the Project Director. Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
• Scope Management & Client Relationship: Responsible for delivering the project in accordance with the contract requirements. Build good relationship with Clients/Consultants. To report to client, consultant and main contractor about work progress and any necessary modifications required on site. To attend different meetings as required. Represent company on matters such as business services and union contracts negotiation. Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
• Project Disputes: Adhere to the in-place company regulations and processes and reporting requirements and highlight to head office any potential project conflicts / disputes.
• General Tasks: Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Line Manager/company policy
• Committed to HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual requirement’s affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative office.
• Managing & directing mep site and Construction managers and project engineers and foreman; and monitoring for site progress to achieve targets and deliver the work on required time and quality, technical support, attending to the technical problems in the sites and formulate the possible solution in solving the problem monitor for project execution.
• Receive/Action Request for Information (RFI) that apply to MEP works.
• Assist in Submission and Obtaining approvals for all technical submittals such as (Materials, Method statements, Drawings, Construction NOC, etc…).
• Review the as-built drawings and the operation and maintenance manual to be in line with specs and engineer satisfaction.
• Reviewing and submission of monthly interim payments.
• Follow up and finalizing variations along with commercial team.
• Initiating and submitting the claims along with the planning and commercial teams.
• Commissioning and project handing over.
