Review of Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents during proposals, organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR) and identify the requirements and scope of work; review specifications and Data Sheets, Plot plans, General Arrangement drawings, Area Classification Drawings and other relevant documents. Identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through the raising of technical queries to projects/client, review of tender bulletins /clarification from client, preparation of project execution methodology, feed endorsement or verification report and qualifications for bid submittal.

? Verify scope of work, budgeted man hours, no of deliverables, time schedules and other specifications for execution of the work. Monitor man-hour costs and time schedules. Recommend cost effective measures to reduce the overall package costs.
PMC WORK
? Perform Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services in the role of Electrical Engineer for oil & gas and petrochemical projects. The responsibilities shall include the review of Engineering Contractor’s design work / deliverables and provide necessary comments / approval, while fully meeting COMPANY’s requirements by assuring quality deliverables in a timely manner
? Provides inputs to line manager on change orders and ensure safe, economical and technically sound decisions.
? Provides technical / expert support for projects various activities, including bids evaluation, review of pre-qualification of Subcontractors / Contractors, Vendors or Suppliers, commissioning and handover of project facilities to end-users, etc.
? Identifies areas of improvement for the design contractor and articulate an action plan with the involvement of both the project engineer and the design contractor representative.
? Provides technical advice and support to the operation group, in order to ensure that the plants integrity and long term availability are maintained, areas of concern are identified by the appropriate party and optimum / cost effective solutions are adopted.
? Follows up with Contractor’s planning and progress on daily basis.
