HSE consultancy business, specialising in small local businesses in the area that couldn't employ a full-time H & S employee. From setting up Health and Safety Policies and Safety Management Systems to Auditing (14001 and 45001) and site inspections, accident investigations and root cause analysis. Fire Safety and Risk Assessments, PAT testing, PTW systems, Regulatory Compliance, Aiding companies in their understanding the Contractors, Designers and Manufactures Regulations and Compliance issues, and relevant Documentation. Due to the Covid outbreak, the consultancy work dried up, and the business ceased operating.

Onshore and nearshore Civil engineering work. From Harbour wall construction and repairs to Cable laying, mooring installation and maintenance, armouring and trenching, commissioning of sewerage outfalls and desalination intake systems, tide gauges, Fendering, NDT Inspections, marine survey work, lifting operations, salvage and film work, amongst many other projects.

With no health and safety support readily available, I took on the responsibility of getting the business up to date and compliant with the current regulations at the time. I was responsible for all acts of Health, safety, training and welfare of my employees, complying with legislation in a very stringent industry.
