Dr. Takwa Gabr is Professor and Head of Audiovestibular Medicine, Faculty of
Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt. She has special interest in paediatric
audiology and cochlear implants. She has a lot of research in that field where
different types of auditory evoked potentials were used to assess CI benefits. She
started this type of research in 2010 till now. Other areas of interest included
tinnitus, AEPs, vestibular system evaluation, and rehabilitation in addition to the
field of special interest in Neuro-otology.
She contributed to many national, international, and regional conferences, and
workshops either in CIs or in other areas of the fields. She has a special interest in
medical education where she got her diploma in Healthcare Professional Medical
Education in 2021 from Suez Canal University in collaboration with Maastricht
University, Holland. Recently she got her Master degree in Business
Administration from East London University, UK at February 2024.
