Following the retirement of Senior GP Partners, introduced system to manage workload more easily by encouraging more use of telephone triaging, use of a software system called AccuRx to allow patients to send photos of skin lesions rather than waiting routinely for appointments.
Clinical Governance is also a particularly critical area as, constant strive to improve patient care, through education and training, clinical audits, staff management, information management, patient involvement.
Would like to develop further in family medicine, challenge in seeing patients who do not present with textbook symptoms which leads to elements of uncertainty. This challenge is very stimulating and rewarding which furthers the passion in specializing in Family Medicine.
